In plain English: The Inky Listing Assistant fills a marketplace's listing form from a draft you already prepared in Inky. You always press List yourself. It only talks to Inky's own service, never reads your marketplace password, and has no trackers or third parties.

This policy covers the Inky Listing Assistant browser extension (“the extension”). The extension helps you list items you’ve already prepared in Inky by filling a marketplace’s listing form for you. You always press List yourself — the extension never submits a listing. Inky’s main Privacy Policy covers the Inky app and account; this page explains what the extension specifically does.

The short version

• The only server the extension talks to is Inky’s own API.
• It reads the listing drafts you created in Inky so it can fill them into a marketplace’s form.
• It never reads, asks for, or stores your marketplace username or password.
• It never submits, posts, or relists anything — it fills fields and highlights the List button for you to click.
• It has no analytics, advertising, or trackers, and it does not sell or share your data.

What the extension accesses

• Your Inky listing drafts. When you open a supported marketplace’s create-listing page and click the extension, it asks Inky’s API for the next draft in your queue (title, description, price, category, and the photos you prepared) and fills those values into the page’s form fields.
• A short-lived Inky sign-in token. To prove the request is yours, the extension reads a temporary session token from your already-signed-in Inky browser tab. The token is used immediately for that one request and is not stored. You stay signed in through Inky’s own site, not through the extension.

What the extension stores

The extension stores only its own configuration (which Inky API address to use) in your browser’s local extension storage. It stores no personal data, no listing content, and no credentials.

What the extension does not do

• It does not read your marketplace login or password.
• It does not submit, publish, relist, or remove listings.
• It does not read pages other than the supported marketplace listing forms.
• It does not contact any server other than Inky’s own API.
• It does not contain analytics, ad, fingerprinting, or tracking code.
• It does not sell or transfer your data to third parties.

Permissions, and why each is needed

• Scripting. To fill the listing form fields on the marketplace page, and to read the short-lived sign-in token from your open Inky tab.
• Tabs. To find your open Inky tab (for the token) and the marketplace tab to fill.
• Storage. To remember the extension’s configuration (the Inky API address).
• Access to Inky’s domains. To reach Inky’s API and read your sign-in token.
• Access to marketplace listing pages. To fill the form on the page you’re listing from. The extension only runs on those create-listing pages.

Data we collect

None, beyond what you already entered into Inky. The extension is a bridge between your Inky drafts and a marketplace’s form. The Inky app’s own Privacy Policy covers the listing content you create there.
